Yea its got a number in it, definitely going to be a mainline game.

So, its a remake of Re;Birth 1, with more characters to play, and a FISHING minigame. well, I guess it might be worth checking out when it goes on 90% markdown in Steam in a year or three.

Meanwhile not a peep about a direct sequel to VII, and "Game E-Ninja Neptune" appears to be dead in the water as a project (likely became "VVVTunia" a.k.a. Virtual Stars).

I don't know about all of you, but this is starting to get extremely annoying.

I really hope this will be more than just a remake. Hopefully, it majorly overhauls major parts of the game, In terms of content, I'd hope for a jump in content similar to the original HDN to R;B1, rather than VII to VIIR

Since the CPU Candidates are on the promotional art, I'd assume/hope that they'd be integrated more into the story, rather than just being optional, easily missable side characters. Though I'm kind of worried that the addition of the CPU Candidates as major characters would either lead to a problem of too many characters, or they would replace the role of Maker characters.

Another fun possibility is this game is setting up for a 5th game. I mean, it does have a big 5 in the Japanese title. I like the idea of a 5th game in the franchise being set in the Superdimension. And that'd mean more gay Vert, which I'd be proper happy with.

I hope this warrants whatever price tag they slap on it. I'm not sure i want to pay 30-60$ for a game i already own on vita and pc if all it brings to the table is new game plus from the start and quality of life fixes. I really hope for this series and for the fans that this game atleast blows it out of the water so that way more mainline games will hopefully be made and not just remakes. I get it that the stories aren't that easy to make, but with how many years it's been since vii, i think they really need to either make a sequel to that, or make a new game but use all the characters. I want to see gold third used again and not just thrown into the background, I want to see the makers come back or atleast acknowledge their existence. I'd love a playable dengeki and Famitsu in a mainline title and not just in spinoffs. I'd also like for them to actually give vert a sister, it's been too many games of them making jokes about it, i see now harm in making up a new handheld and calling it like the Xpad or something. I'm also hoping they don't continue to pick on blanc for her chest size and having to make nep mock noire for actually doing her job. I get it that some jokes are just bound to happen in a neptunia game, but i'm hoping they learn to come up with new material and only use those jokes now and then so they don't become overused. Also i know it has alot of characters in it but i would like to see a playable rei in one of these. I understand they don't let you play as bosses, but if i have to see uzume come back, i'd love it if they atleast try something new and say that a rei from a different dimension or something shows up as a dlc character or something that we can use. That and yellow heart, i'd love to see those 2 fight side by side. All in all i'm going to give the new game a fair try when it comes out, but i'm hoping it's good, i really am. (also sorry if this is all jumbled, it didn't give me an option to space stuff down so i had to type it all out right after each other)
