Command/Super Neptunia RPG

This page lists all the skills and abilities in Super Neptunia RPG.

Skill

Skills can only be learned from equipment and maxing out the skill points, though they can be used before then as long as the equipment with the skill is equipped. Skills can only be used if the formation of the party matches that of the skill unless the skill can be used in all formations. Skills cost a certain amount of AP to use which is recovered constantly in battle. The AP that a skill uses can be reduced by the ability Half AP and one can gain AP faster using the buff Haste, which can automatically be gained the ability Auto-Haste.

In general the higher cost AP skills scales a lot higher than low AP skills. One can expect Glacicus to deal significantly more than double of Glacis.

Elemental edge skills are a 2 hit attack, the first hit uses STR and the second hit uses INT.

With regards to weaken, resist and absorb skills:

• There are four ways to react to attacks for Physical and Elemental attacks: Weak, Neutral, Resist, and Absorb
  • Weak means the target takes additional damage and the attacker gains one AP
  • Neutral means the target takes normal damage and no extra AP calculations occur
  • Resistant means the the takes reduced damage and the attacker loses 1 AP
  • Absorb means the target absorb the damage that would be dealt, and the attacker loses 2 AP
• Only one layer of the resist or weakness can be applied that would move the target up or down the weak, neutral, resist gauge.
• The weaken element debuff does not reduce an enemy's ability to absorb
• Likewise gaining the ability to absorb gets overwrites being weak to one element

Weaken skills cannot overwrite an enemy's absorb. Absorb skills overwrite weakness of the Physical or Elemental kind. Resistance can remove weakness and replace it with being neutral to the element.
