Chapter 2: The Crossroads of Defeat[]
The party heads over to Septent Resort in order to gather Hematite for information on Lastation's Mascot Character. Nepgear runs into Uni who is also looking for Hematite and is excited to see her. Uni tries to apologize for what happened at Rebeat Resort but Nepgear is too happy and wants to team up with her to defeat the monsters to get Hematite. Uni angrily wants says that Nepgear cannot have the Hematite. The two bicker. Underling takes this chance to set the monsters aggressive so Nepgear and her party defeat the monsters. Uni then challenges Nepgear for the Hematite. Uni loses and Nepgear is unsure whether she wanted that to happen.
The party return to the dungeon for Lastation's mascot character who refuses to join them. Pirachu shows up and wants to recruit Compa into ASIC, destroy the mascot to further ASIC's control. Compa refuses and the party defeat Pirachu. The mascot character is unwilling to come along with the party but lends them her strength so they may save the CPU.
