Heretics are a individuals who used to serve directly under the Basilicom, but do not worship the goddess of their native land. Due to this, they are often looked down upon both the Basilicom and the general populus of Gamindustri. They only appear in Hyperdimension Neptunia and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1. Members of The Guild are also branded as heretics for not worshiping the goddess of they land they live on.

There are a few notable Heretics in Hyperdimension Neptunia and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1:
- IF : While it is never confirmed where IF is originally from, it can be inferred that her native land was possibly Planeptune due to that being where she was first encountered by Neptune and Compa and also because Planeptune is her native land in later titles. IF is Guild Moderatist who worships the goddess of Leanbox, Green Heart.
- Ganache: While it is never confirmed where Ganache is originally from, it can be inferred that his native land was Planeptune. This is due to when Neptune, Compa, and IF first met Ganache he immediately reconginized them and even knew their names even though it was Neptune's supposed first time ever meeting him. However, when she signed up for Terraportation in the Planeptune Basilicom, a staff member there of the same voice as Ganache was the one who helped her, so it is possible that Ganache worked at the Planeptune Basilicom. Ganache is a Guild Extremist who worships the goddess of Lastation, Black Heart.
- Financier: Financier is a member of the Guild works as White Heart's handmaid in the Lowee Basilicom. However, she does not worhship White Heart. It is also never confirmed which goddess she worships because when asked she states its a secret. Financier is a Guild Moderatist.
