Battle System[]
The battle system uses a combination of "action" and "strategy" mechanics. players will utilize various commands, Combo Skills, Tactical Skills, and Chain attacks according to the situation to win each battle.
During battle, players will fight enemies with three party members in real-time, with the two remaining members being controlled by the AI. Combat requires strategy—consider the distribution of each character’s AP, switch between characters, and utilize the skills of the entire party.
Combo Skills[]
Combo Skills are unleashed by spending the AP accumulated during battle. AP is restored between attacks. By using Tactical Skills in battle, players can increase their maximum AP, so the more Tactical Skills used, the more powerful Combos can be pulled off. It should be noted that when a certain level is reached, players have two Combo Routes instead of one, granting them a wider range of attacks and allowing them to use different Combos for different enemies. Players can also create custom combos by inputting various commands prompted to make an attack style of their own.
Combo Make[]
"Combo Make" is a system that replaces combo skills and creates a unique combo route. There are three types of skills, each with its own characteristics.
- Power: Attack enemies with high damage.
- Rush: Increases Goddess Gauge faster with quick continuous hits. Low damage.
- Break: Deals damage to the enemy's GP.
Tactical Skills[]
Powerful, character-specific skills that can be easily activated by expending the Tactical Gauge that accumulates over time.
As time passes and players attack enemies in battle, the Tactical Gauge will accumulate. When the gauge is full, players can activate their Tactical Skill by pressing the △ button. Pressing △ + Up and △ + Down will also activate other skills.
While the Tactical Gauge is being accumulated, players can switch between characters, use Combo Skills and Tactical Skills, etc.
Chain Attacks[]
Party members can connect combos to create a Chain of endless attacks. Exactly who the player connects their Combos with for the most efficient Chain attacks will significantly influence the battle. Connecting Chain attacks in a successful way is the key to victory in combat.
Additionally, by paying attention to the cost management of party members, the Chain attack can go even further. Combo Skills, Tactical Skills, and Chains… How and when they're used will ultimately decide the battle.
Chains[]
The Chain is a combination attack system in which players can freely switch between characters while unleashing Combo Skills and Tactical Skills. If the character’s attack cost is spent and they cannot continue the Combo, they can “Chain” it to another character and continue the attack.
1. When the AP is low during a Combo Skill, players can continue the Combo by chaining it to a character with enough AP.
2. When a Tactical Skill is activated, switch to a party member with sufficient cost to continue the combination.
Easy Chaining via Suggestions[]
When the final Combo Skill or Tactical Skill is activated, a suggested Chain path will appear on the screen. Pressing the indicated button will continue the Chain to the next character.
Chain Bonus: Increasing Damage Dealt[]
The higher the Chain, the higher the damage dealt. Connecting multiple Chains as possible is essential to defeating powerful enemies.
Transformation[]
Players can activate Goddess Transformation when the Goddess Gauge is full, and will continue until the gauge is empty. While in Goddess form, stats will increase, and players can activate combo skills without consuming AP, and the number of times they can connect combos is unlimited.
EXE Drive[]
EXE Drives are used when the Goddess Gauge is at least half full, and can do powerful damage, especially on tougher enemies.
Disc System[]
Equipping game discs will receive the benefits of capacity enhancement and function expansion during battle. It will also help build new tactics such as being able to continue combos longer and allowing to take two consecutive steps.
A maximum of 4 discs can be equipped for each character, and can be combined to make various battle styles.
Disc Developer[]
The Disc Developer system returns with a unique way of creating game discs:
- Select a genre of your choosing, each genre has a different ability, so the more times that genre is used, the more likely a second ability will be obtained.
- Select an audience member who will cooperate with the development. If developed in your favorite genre, you will be given the unique abilities of the member.
- Choose an auxiliary item that can reduce development time. these items can be obtained in dungeons.
- After selecting the items, wait until development is completed. The observer may request an additional cost, and if accepted, a disc with two abilities will be developed.
- When development is finished, equip a character of your choosing with your custom disc. Disc abilities may vary depending on genre, target member and development time.
Party Organization[]
A system that allows players to make detailed settings for battle preparations, such as replacing members and changing formations. Players can pursue more tactical battles by setting it according to their ideal tactics.
Players can select the members who will participate in the battle and the characters to operate. Characters that are not controlled by the player will act as an AI during the battle, so issuing action instructions such as offense and defense as a strategy will make them cooperate well.
Formation[]
Players can adjust the formation where the party stands at the start of the battle. Arrangements can be set according to the role of the character, such as making a highly durable character stand in front and protect the other characters from behind.
Lily Formation[]
A system that allows battle members to be given the passive elements that the character has by forming a pair with the character. Characters other than those organized into battle members can also contribute.
Chirper (SNS and Requests System)[]
The Chirper system makes its return with new features.
Chirper Home Screen[]
The Chirper home screen displays the latest chirps from the people of Gamindustri. Players can respond by liking individual chirps.
Check Requests from the People of Gamindustri[]
As players progress through the game, they will receive certain requests from the people of Gamindustri. There are four types of requests: Bounties, Item Retrieval, Item Collection, and NPC Rescue. Each have various clear conditions.
Complete Requests to Receive Rewards[]
When the clear conditions of a request is met, players can report it as complete. By completing a request, players can earn rewards such as items and ally units that cooperate with the player through disc development.
Heartfelt Photo Mode[]
Players can take photos of the characters on-screen by adjusting the angles, make them do various actions and poses, and change the background to create the perfect shot.
Arena[]
In the Arena, players will engage in various battles to reach the highest rank, and receive special prizes.
There is a rank band of F to S in the arena, and players can raise their rank by winning a battle of 3 rounds determined by each rank. When the player reaches the top of each rank, a promotion battle will occur. By winning this, they will be able to challenge the higher ranks where even stronger enemies await. As the player moves up the ranks, they will receive items and equipment that are useful for their adventure.
Training[]
Players can train by fighting with various types of enemies, learn their behavior patterns to prepare for the next battle, or think about new combinations of combo skills.
Neptral Tower[]
"Neptral Tower" is a dungeon that is available by advancing through the story. Players will search for a gate somewhere in the area and proceed to the next floor, aiming for the 100th floor. Escaping or saving is prohibited outside the safe area, so players need to prepare carefully before trying.
Fighting Tough Bosses[]
A battle with the boss is waiting for the player every 10 floors. By defeating it, they can advance to the next level. In addition, there is a safe area on the floor where the middle boss is, and if the player wants to try again after escaping the dungeon, they can start from here.
Obtaining Powerful Items[]
The treasure chests in Neptral Tower contain only powerful consumable items and equipment that are not available in the shop. If the player can search all over the dungeon where strong enemies are infested and find treasure chests, it will lead to further growth of the party.
