Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution (超次元ゲイム ネプテューヌ GameMaker R:Evolution,Chōjigen Geimu Neputūnu: GameMaker R:Evolution, lit. Super Dimension Game Neptune: GameMaker R:Evolution) is a spin-off RPG in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. This game follows the Older Neptune being tasked with reviving a fallen game maker with the help of three goddesses who had been defeated in the race to win the “market share” of game sales.
It is an era of war between the factions of game makers. Three goddesses of game makers were defeated in the race to win the “market share” of game sales and perished. They were then branded as “failures” and left to fade away. But then, all of a sudden…Older Neptune, a girl who has traveled through many dimensional worlds, appears out of nowhere! She is then asked a favor by those three goddesses: to become the president of their company and hopefully resurrect their dying game maker.[5][8]
