Neptunia x SENRAN KAGURA: Ninja Wars (閃乱忍忍忍者大戦ネプテューヌ -少女たちの響艶- Senran Nin Nin Ninja Taisen Neputūnu: Shoujo-tachi no Kyouen) is a crossover game between the Hyperdimension Neptunia and Senran Kagura franchises.
Story[]
―Gamninjustri, a place where all manner of ninjas gather―
As the struggle for control increased between the Daimyos of the nations,
tensions rose between the two great nations,
each of which was home to one of the major schools of martial arts.
The Compa Style which has mastered the Ninja Arts based on the Command Technique.
The Honeypa Style which has mastered the Ninja Arts rooted in the Action Technique.
The two camps were stuck in a ruthless competition of skill in order to achieve hegemony,
but as they fought on, a mysterious army of mechanical ninjas made their assault.
The mechanical ninja army overran the smaller nations in an instant,
and its leader, Yoh Gamer, made an announcement to the world.
The "Super NINJA War" to decide
the world's strongest school is about to begin!

- Neptune (Purple Heart)

A cheerful and energetic girl who calls herself the main protagonist. In her Goddess form, she has a more adult and serious personality.
- Noire (Black Heart)
- Voiced by: Asami Imai
One of the four goddesses of Heartland. She has a strong sense of responsibility, is a serious and honor student type. She feels like a companion, but she can't be honest and she can make bullish statements. In her Goddess form, she has a confident, warlike personality.
- Blanc (White Heart)
- Voiced by: Kana Asumi
One of the four goddesses. She is quiet and thoughtful. She often thinks before she acts. In her Goddess form, she has a rough and blunt personality.
- Vert (Green Heart)
- Voiced by: Rina Satou
One of the 4 Ninja Goddesses. She is a soft-spoken older sister type, able to do anything easily and flawlessly. She obsesses over things she likes. In her Goddess form, she becomes a cool older-sister type, and is ruthless to those who oppose her.

- Voiced by: Kana Ueda
- The shrine maiden of the Kumotsu Shrine in Heartland. She is well cared for and well-established. She often acts with Compa.
- Compa
- Voiced by: Kanako Sakai
A medical ninja and the face of the Compa Style. She's air-headed and goes at her own pace. She also has a dependable side to her, and has the wonderful ability to unite Neptune and the others.
- Histoire
- Voiced by: Mika Kanai
The tome of Heartland. She has a great deal of knowledge and can look up anything. However, it takes "three days" to find out.
Marveland (Honeypa Style Shinobi)[]
- Asuka
- Voiced by: Hitomi Harada
One of the 4 Honeypa Shinobi. Her bright personality lets her get along with everyone. She'd rather train and swap skills than fight. She uses Shinobi Transformation to fight, donning her ninja outfit to strengthen her physical abilities.
- Homura
- Voiced by: Eri Kitamura
One of the 4 Honeypa Shinobi. She has a straightforward personality, compassionate and caring of her friends. She seeks strength for herself, and loves to fight with other strong people. She uses Shinobi Transformation to fight, donning her ninja outfit to strengthen her physical abilities.
One of the 4 Honeypa Shinobi. She has a strong sense of justice, and a serious personality. She's strict with herself and others, and sometimes doesn't understand jokes. She uses Shinobi Transformation to fight, donning her ninja outfit to strengthen her physical abilities.
- Miyabi
- Voiced by: Hiromi Hirata
One of the 4 Honeypa Shinobi. She has great foresight, and the ability to make decisions with ease. She has a strong sense of duty, and faithfully carries out all missions. She uses Shinobi Transformation to fight, donning her ninja outfit to strengthen her physical abilities.
Virtue Nation/Mysterious Ninja[]
A ninja serving for Princess Aaru. She's always positive and calm, but she loses her cool when it comes to the Princess. She grew up as a companion to the Princess since childhood, so they're as close as sisters.

- Voiced by: Toa Yukinari
A mysterious black-clothed ninja who lost her memories. She only remembers her name. Possibly to find clues to her identity, she attacks any strong ninja she sees without hesitation. Her catchphrase is "Be punished."
- Princess Aaru
- Voiced by: Hina Kino
The princess of Virtue Nation. She has inherited the blood of the legendary shrine maiden, and is able to use its power of Vision to project images to distant locations.
Steeme Legion[]
- Yoh Gamer
- Voiced by: Chiwa Saito
The NINJA master of the Steeme Legion. She boasts being the strongest user of the Headshot Style, and is the one who began the Super Ninja War with each nation of Gamninjustri.
- Tetsuko
- Voiced by: Azumi Waki
Commander of the Steeme Legion. She leads the Steeme Legion along with Yoh, but unlike her she dislikes conflict.
- Dayuu Youtsubo
- Voiced by: Hideki Kojima
He was once the head of the Virtua Style. He had feelings for Princess Aaru, but because of his excessive actions, he was banished from Virtue Nation.
- Steamax
- Voiced by: Ichitaro Ai
An assassin of the Steeme Legion. He has a servant-master relationship with Affimojas, in whom he shares a kindred spirit.
- Affimojas
- Voiced by: Hitoshi Bifu
The Steeme Legion's marketing officer and treasurer. Affimojas is in charge of earning money, while Steamax is in charge of doing the actual work.

- This game was originally announced at Dengeki Game Festival 2019 as Game e-Ninja Neptune before being finalized as a crossover game featuring Senran Kagura.[9]
- This is the first game in the series to have its Western localization announced before its Japanese release.
- In one of the dialogs of the game, Vert mentions the following sentence "People may at times feel writing strong men and beautiful women is sexist, or showing the preciousness of life and the misery of war is violent and savage. What I cannot stand are prejudices spoken by those who have only played a few of the titles, lies said by those who have never beaten any. Restrictions born from being manipulated by those opinions, trying to chase popularity. That cannot possibly be justice! No, I shall say it, it is evil!" This is a clear reference to the current censorship that is happening today towards anime and video games.
