  • Thank you for working on the specific enemy pages. The pages are now going to follow the format of "Bestiary/(Game)/(Enemy)". I am currently moving the pages so they all follow this format. Can you name them in this format from now on? Thanks

    • I will, and thank you. I have noticed something interesting with the enemies. Although it is not shown, the enemies also have an SP counter, and I'm assuming each special skill also has an SP count. I realized this when I was recording enemy skills that after a while, all they did was use their basic attacks. This information would be amazing to record, but unfortunately, there is no way in-game to record that kind of information. You'd have to break into the game files to find that info.

    • I was thinking that the Colosseum enemy pages can be integrated into the main enemy page. For examle, the Colosseum encounter for a Dogoo could go in the Bestiary/Re;Birth1/Dogoo page. We could set it up so the info boxes change like Neptune's forms. Do you think you could set up your infobox, or make a 2nd one, so it can function like the one on Neptune's page?

        Loading editor
    • Good idea. I haven't learned how to do tabbing yet, but I will refrain from adding any more colosseum entries from now on.

        Loading editor
    • I've copy and pasted colosseum info for Pixelvader and Dogoo. Is this what you want?

        Loading editor
    • Great! Though I think instead of "Normal", we could have the dungeon they appear in. Although, that might turn into an obstacle of fitting all the locations in later on for reccurring enemies

        Loading editor
    • I think Normal is fine. It's not like the same enemy appears in multiple dungeons, and we already have the dungeon listed in the Infobox.

I'm thinking we could put a Navbox at the bottom with two sections: same type enemies, and same dungeon enemies. The ghosts with the male/female versions could also have a "See also" link at the top.

    • I have noticed that there are a few enemies with the same name that appear in different colosseum battles, which means that they will most likely have different stats. I suggest that instead of Normal and Colosseum, we have Normal and the colosseum battle's name.

        Loading editor
    • That should be fine

    • I understand having the enemies have the Enemies category, but since they all start with "Bestiary/Re;Birth1", they're all being listed under the B section. Is there a way to still have the bestiary and re;birth1 links on the page while shortening the name to just the enemy's name?

        Loading editor
    • I don't think we should do that. The page follows the current format of the wiki. Both Purple Heart and I think that the format is great as it is.

    • Should we add more categories? Categories such as "Dogoo", "Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 Enemies", and "Enemies by Games" as the monster pages get filled up, I mean Enemies was fine when we had the Bestiary for everything but now that there is more stuff.

If we do add more categories, what should they be called specifically?

        Loading editor
    • Yes. I'm not really a categorization person, but I would say:

      • Enemies
      • [Enemy Type]
      • [Game] Enemies

And any others you can think of

        Loading editor
    • I was thinking adding enemies by dungeon, but I was thinking that to be more for the Navbox at the bottom.

Ah, I also was thinking about adding Dangerous, Risky, and Tough Enemy categories.

        Loading editor
    • Ok I'm liking [Enemy Type] [Game] Enemies and Dangerous/Risky/Tough Enemies. What do we do about [Colosseum] enemies? I think they are special enough for a category.

I'm not sure if we need a navbox for enemies and location, I mean a navbox for just dungeons especially for Re;Birth1 is going to be large enough. I believe putting that in the infobox linking to the dungeon should be sufficient for people who want to find related enemies in said dungeon.

    • I've made the Dangerous and Risky enemies categories. I'm about to make the Tough category. I think Colosseum is a good category as well.

        Loading editor
    • I have a question categorizing enemies. What are Dangerous/Risky/Tough Enemies or Colosseum anyways? I mean are they "Enemy Types" which means they fall under that sub-category? Should we consider them as such or just their own kind of enemy which means they are put under "Enemies" subcategory?

        Loading editor
    • Enemy Types specifically would be Dogoo, Vader, CPU, Humanoid, etc. Dangerous/Risky/Tough/Colosseum enemies would be their own sub-type or something. I labeled the Dangerous/Risky/Tough enemies as the three Powerful Enemies group.

    • I just finished adding all the Clione entries, but there's way too many tabs to fit them all! Is there a better way to fix this?

Similar issue with Bestiary/Re;Birth1/Dogoo. Is there a way to stack tabs maybe two at a time?

        Loading editor
    • Since I don't know how to tell dangerous enemy, in Adjiten Forest Pass Cyber Dolphin is bolded, Does that mean it is dangerous? not risky nor tough?

        Loading editor
    • I actually just finished adding that page, lol. It would be considered Dangerous since it appears as an orange dot on the minimap while the Add Enemies modifer is off. In essence, if an enemy with an orange dot appears in a dungeon without the Add Enemies modifier, it's a Dangerous enemy. If it appears in a dungeon with the Add Enemies modifier on, it's a Risky enemy. If it appears in a dungeon with the Add Super Enemies modifier on, it's a Tough enemy. Do note that Tough enemies are the enemies that only appear with the Add Super Enemies modifier on, as Risky enemies are also present in dungeons with Tough enemies.

    • Oh man. The Clione page is a perfect example of what I was afraid of. It appears so many times, that there are too many tabbers. They don't all fit on 1 line, so they go to a new one. It doesn't look good.

The question is: how should we fix it? One solution I can think of is to just number the appearances. For example, "1" is the Naasne Volcano appearance, "2" is the Millennium Labyrinth appearence, and so on.

        Loading editor
    • Sounds good. I'll make the changes and apply them to other similar pages as well.

        Loading editor
    • I've made the changes. It looks much cleaner now.

        Loading editor
    • Do you think we should seperate the Colosseum encounters from the Dungeon encounters? Like label them "C1", "C2", etc.

        Loading editor
    • Yeah, that'd be good. I was thinking something like that since the having the battle name as the tab might be too long. I think instead I'll put the battle name in italics underneath the habitat like I've been doing with the Add Enemies text.

I see this useful for enemies with more than one Colosseum showing such as the Dogoo, but what about when they only have one normal showing and one Colosseum showing? Should we just keep that as "Normal" and "Colosseum"?

        Loading editor
    • We should probobly keep everything unified. Maybe shorten all the encouters to D# (for "Dungeon") and C#. Like "D1, D2, C1, C2". We should probobly shorten them even if there is only 1 Dungeon or Colosseum encounter, because looking at the Clione, we won't have room, and we'll probobly run into this spacing problem again if we don't shorten.

        Loading editor
    • Alright. I'll change them when I reach them.

        Loading editor
    • Before we add more categories, I just learned something about formating.

Apparently this wiki has been categorizing things like with certain captilizations...

[Game] Enemies, should be [Game] enemies

[Enemy Type] should be [Enemy Type] enemies (Since there are CPU enemies)

[Colosseum] Enemies should be [Colosseum] enemies

      [Dangerous/Risky/Tough] Enemies are fine however,

Is there an easy way to rename categories instead of deleting and creating new ones? Is this necessary to change, you think?

        Loading editor
    • I honestly do not know. I am fairly recent to the whole wiki thing and am learning as I go.

        Loading editor
    • I learned this myself from this thread yesterday. It is going to be a pain to change them but I wonder if there is an easy way to do it.

        Loading editor
    • I'm sorry to sound dumb, but what did we agree on? Are we capitalizing each first letter or as we capitalizing all except the last general part?

        Loading editor
    • Nothing yet, waiting for admins or someone with higher authority to decide what to do with categories...

        Loading editor
    • I would like to make every categoy fully capitalized (Like "Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 Enemies"). I'm a bit OCD like Poke007, plus it would look neater. I'll start working on capitalizing all the categories tommorow. I have a long road ahead of me.

As for an easier way, you could rename them from the source editer. At the bottom right is a list of all the categories for that page. You can hover over them, and then click the pencil to directly rename them. Whether it's faster or not depends on how many categories there are.

        Loading editor
    • I tend to want everything capitalized as if it were a book title as well, so I'm good with that.
