Uni is the CPU Candidate of Lastation and Noire's younger sister. She is stubborn and always strives for perfection. Her seemingly flawless sister serves her most obvious complex.

Uni

Appearance

Uni has red eyes and black hair worn in two pigtails that are tied up by two black ribbons with white stripes. She wears a black one-piece pleated dress decorated with white stripes at the bottom of the pleats. She also wears matching arm warmers and shoes with knee high black socks sharing the same color scheme as her dress.

Personality

Uni is similar to Noire in personality regarding some aspects such as the tsundere factor. Overall, however, Uni seems to be much friendlier and a lot less arrogant than Noire due to the inferiority complex she has from striving to be just as flawless as her older sister. Uni in Megadimension Neptunia VII has become a lot more observant in other people's dialogue. She notices when people say things that contradict each other, various traits from their dialogue, and other strange things.

Black Sister

Appearance

In her Next-Gen Cradle core Black Sister's hair stays in pigtails but becomes white and curls up while her eyes become a bright green similar to Noire's. In the upgraded version of her default bodysuit, Uni wears a a black and white two piece bikini-like bodysuit with matching shoulder length gloves and thigh-high boots with 3 inch block heels.

Personality

Black Sister's personality is identical to her human form though, as with nearly all the goddesses, she becomes a lot more confident in her abilities and more serious.

Story

Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2

In Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Uni travels alongside Nepgear and the other candidates to rescue their sisters from the Gamindustri Graveyard as well as defeat the Arfoire Syndicate of International Crime (ASIC) and stop Arfoire from destroying Gamindustri. Uni first meets Nepgear when she travels to Lastation to complete quests in the hopes of raising Lastation's shares. Uni and Nepgear become friends immediately, but their relationship takes a turn for the worse when she learns that Nepgear is the CPU Candidate of Planeptune.

Uni is initially stubborn about joining Nepgear in rescuing her sisters and even challenges her to a one on one battle to test her own strength. After her defeat she realizes that she is still inadequate and refuses to join Nepgear immediately. When Uni meets Nepgear again, the two of them fight and defeat CFW Brave together. Nepgear gives Uni a nice pep-talk and Uni finally decides to join her.

After heading to the Gamindustri Graveyard and rescuing the Console Patron Units (CPUs), Uni helps in defeating the Criminals of the Free World (CFWs). She also makes a promise to CFW Brave that she will ensure that the children of Gamindustri will be happy before he is defeated. Once they take down the CFWs and defeat Arfoire at last Uni goes about her life with Noire, doing paperwork with her and actually finishing before her for a change.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2 SISTERS GENERATION

The events of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2 mirror that of Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 with the exception of the holy sword option to the conquest route.

Nepgear refuses to kill any of the goddesses, by breaking the cursed sword. The goddesses decide to remake the cursed sword and Uni decides to help Nepgear. The two work tirelessly for three days and nights.

Afterwards they go off, slay the CFWs again and defeat Arfoire. The ending plays out like the true-end.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory

In Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, Uni becomes a party member towards the end of the game when Neptune, Nepgear, and the Ultra Dimension CPUs come back to the Hyper Dimension to fight against Rei Ryghts. When she meets the Ultra Dimension Noire she is delighted at having two sisters.

After defeating Rei Ryghts and saving both Gamindustris, Uni is shown trying to get Noire of the Hyperdimension to go with her to see the Noire of the Ultradimension, only to be told that if she wants to go then she should just go by herself. Uni is disappointed, commenting on how the other candidates go back and forth between the dimensions with their sisters all the time.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation

The events of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 play out like Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory with the exception of an extra chapter.

Neptune, Uni and the candidates visit the Ultra Dimension after a month's break of not doing so. They find the Ultra Dimension is in trouble, the console software brok and a pair of developers made micro-transaction filled games which are popular, sapping the Ultra Dimension goddesses of valuable shares. Worse of all, the developers, Bamo and Regu have openly declared war on the goddesses.

Uni and Nepgear decide to investigate, learning the game uses IP from Lowee which the developers intend to destroy. The two are shocked about how a girl playing these games is so willing to spend her parent's money and dump weak characters in her game.

Afterwards, the goddesses decide to make better games. Uni reports that Lastation has produced excessive hardware. Noire decides to make Lastation-brand phones to see their mobile games. The idea works and the developers up a brain-washing spell they used to get people to buy their bad games in the first place.

Uni assists the goddesses in taking the two down, exiling them to a southern continent, thus saving the Ultra Dimension once more.

Megadimension Neptunia VII

Zero Dimension Neptunia Z: Twilight of the Desperate CPU
Uni arrives with Noire at mach speeds to Planeptune at IF's request in order to assist Neptune with finding Sanshiro's Soulful Patch to help Histoire. Neptune notes that Noire was fast and teased if she arrived only to see her. Noire tries to denies this so Neptune calls her a "tsundere". Noire chases Neptune around. Uni notes that Neptune is spot as always when it comes to her sister's intentions. Uni mutters to herself that it is rude that Nepgear chose to stay behind instead of returning so they could see each other. Eventually, Uni decides to get the girls back on track. They decide to dig up as much information on their own and regroup at a hotel lobby in 2 hours.

After two hours the girls arrive in the hotel and order some tea. Noire asks Uni to set up a video conference with the other CPUs. Nobody was able to find anything about Sanshiro's Soulful Patch. Vert does have a lead thanks to her gaming friend in Four Goddesses Online 2 and N-Chan about the First CPU's sanctuary. None of the CPUs including Noire are able to help Neptune with exploring the sanctuary because of the CPU Shift Period and the rampant rumors.

Neptune then asks why Noire came over to help her until now. Noire rats out Uni as she desired to assist Histoire so that Nepgear can return home sooner. Uni then rats out Noire who was concerned about Neptune's lack of competence. The two sisters embarrassed then decide to leave Neptune without their tea.

Hyper Dimension Neptunia G: The Golden Leaders, Reconstructors of Gamindustri
Prologue
A few days after the events of the Zero Dimension, Uni and Noire arrive to Planeptune for a tea party at the Planeptune sisters' invitation. Her older sisters along with the CPUs vent out their frustrations of the CPU Shift Period and the accompanying rumors. Uni tells Noire not to worry as Neptune supposedly has a plan. Noire tells her to not put so much trust into Neptune. Regardless, Noire agrees to Neptune's plan of creating a multi-national festival and using all their budget on it much to the surprise of Uni. Noire clarifies, she intends to ignore Neptune's reckless spending but does support the idea of a festival.

In a few months the festival is ready and it is successful. The shares are being regained and rumors are ignored. Uni and Nepgear are enjoying the events of the festival. Rom and Ram come over to give them some crêpes. The candidates then decide to watch their sisters' 4 man battle royale. It is interrupted by a group that calls themselves Gold Third. The group defeats their sisters and Gamindustri is rewritten.

Lastation
Uni and Noire get together and visit a Lastation city. They are surprised to find that no one remembers the CPUs. They continue to the next city and decide to gather some more information. Noire introduces them as a pair of tourist to a cafe. However, the people get suspicious as this city is famous for not having tourist. Uni complains to her sister quickly but Noire apologizes as everyone can make that mistake. The situation escalates and guards are called. Uni wants to fight them but Noire refuses as they are citizens of Lastation.

The pair flee and are cornered. It seems that they are after Noire only and think Uni is a kidnapped kid. Noire tells Uni to go with the guards. She cannot get her sister caught up in danger Uni protests but Noire explains that Uni is her insurance if anything happens. With that Uni leaves her sister.

Uni is getting close to Lastation and gets a call from Nepgear. Nepgear tells her Noire has been captured and wants to assist her. She asks Uni to wait but Uni says no, as she must rescue Noire immediately.

Nepgear understands and offers aid by pinpointing the prison, Noire is held in. Uni decides to do some quests to gain supplies and prepares to rescue her sister.

She knocks two guards out with tranquilizer darts and saves Noire. Noire and Uni then decide to infiltrate the Lastation Basilicom via a secret entrance that Uni was surprised to learn exists.

However, the Order Woman ambushes them. Uni remembers the Order as a ruthless mercenary group that loves war but it was disbanded. The woman said she created a new one, and wants to bring Lastation to war with the help of the delusionary monsters. She calls the guards over so the sisters retreat.

Uni and Noire decide to hunt delusionary monsters and other monsters. Eventually, K-Sha reunites with Noire. Noire introduces K-Sha as a friend surprising Uni. The surprise annoys her sister and Uni apologizes noting that she has seen Neptune's reaction too often. Uni notes that K-Sha is rather clingy towards her sister. Regardless, Uni is happy to have K-Sha assist with intel-gathering.

Uni then hears of a thief that stole something from the Lastation Basilicom. She notices an antique cable from the Basilicom. Next she notices a ninja. He says he dropped this when he stole it from a thief. He calls himself Jiro. Uni finds that suspicious but lets him go as he does not seem like a bad person, telling him to return the cable to the Basilicom.

Later Uni gets thirsty and goes to buy a drink. She sees Jiro who is reading a book. She wonders what he is reading and sees Jiro trying to hide it. She makes a grab at a weak point to see he is reading a homoerotic magazine. She says that she can't judge and says farewell to the "Bara Ninja".

Uni and Noire then hear from K-Sha that monsters have appeared in the subway system of a nearby Lastation city. K-Sha wants Noire to be careful. Noire promises that she will return. Uni notes that this is like a wife seeing their husband off to war.

The two sisters head off to the subway station. They barge in and Noire injuries a few guards as they need to rescue the citizens still in the subway. They find the citizens and the rescue team under attack by a delusionary monster. Noire tries to help them but they accuse her of creating the monster. Uni is about to mouth off to them but Noire stops her.

The monster is about to take advantage of an opening but sniper fire stops this. Noire thanks Uni but it was not her shot. The two defeat the monster and gain the adoration of the citizens. They also no longer want to arrest Noire. The citizens give Noire a hotel room and K-Sha shows up. Uni gets a room to herself while her sister shares a room with K-Sha.

The next day, her sister leaves for a quest telling Uni to let K-Sha sleep. She then sees Noire in her room still. She asks her sister what she is doing which angers K-Sha. Uni wonder got to K-Sha and simply notes that her sister left to do a quest earlier. Noire explains that she was simply worried about K-Sha and returned. Uni notes she never saw her sister return. Noire then invites Uni to gather intel and tells K-Sha to stay behind.

While the two are supposed to be gathering information, Noire acts rather clingy towards Uni. The two do couple like things which makes Uni rather uncomfortable. Uni is also noticing some sort of hatred brewing nearby again making her uncomfortable. Her sister then wants to feed her and Uni has had it telling her she is going too far. Noire then fakes some tears and the two end up feeding each other. Eventually Noire leaves for a moment. Uni has some time to think. She assumes her sister just wants to make up some lost time they never spent together. She decides to go through with it.

Noire returns and Uni is more willing to get close to Noire which makes Noire uncomfortable. When Uni tries to feed Noire, Noire tells she understand Uni is trying to make up lost time but feeding each other is going overboard. Uni then gets confused. She returns to her room absolutely exhausted from today. Noire shows her concern for her. Uni then gets some rest.

The next day, K-Sha visits Uni and tries to kill her scaring Uni. Noire steps in to stop this. K-Sha then challenges Uni to a duel for Noire. The two will fight at the Golden Summit and she leaves. Uni notes that yandere were scary but she did not know they were that scary. The two sisters head off to the Golden Summit

At the top, K-Sha reveals herself as the member of Gold Third supposedly ruling after Lastation. Noire tells her that killing Uni won't make her be K-Sha's. K-Sha asks Noire how she can get Noire. Noire says that if K-Sha can beat her in battle, Noire will be her's. Uni asks her if that is a good idea. Noire says a battle will get her back to her senses.

The two sisters battle K-Sha and the sisters come out victorious. K-Sha wonders why she lost as she loved Noire so much. Noire then berates K-Sha for her shallow interpretation of friendship. The should be on more equal terms and in addition to that, Noire tells K-Sha that she is irreplaceable. The two make up and become closer friends. Uni laughs at the fact that Noire was suckered into saying she likes K-Sha who interprets that as a confession.

The girls return to a hotel where K-Sha explains everything. She was a member of the Order, born and raised to kill as an elite soldier. She now wants a normal life but due to her refusal to assassinate Noire, that cannot happen. The Order will try to weaken her by destroying her Gold Crystal.

The girls rush to the summit to stop this. Noire tells K-Sha to stay behind and promises she will be back. Uni tells Noire she is being overprotective of K-Sha. Noire agrees to an extent. The girls reach the top of the summit to find the Order Woman. She tells her Anti-CPU robot to fight against the sisters. The sisters make short work of the robot.

The Order Woman reveals the robot's true weapon a virus mist. Uni pushes Noire out of the mist and gets badly poisoned. Uni collapses and tells her sister that she will not make it but assures her that it is part of the job. K-Sha silences the Order Woman then synthesizes an antidote using her blood. Uni is saved but K-Sha then snaps.

Uni and Noire have one final battle with K-Sha. Uni asks her sister if they should but Noire scolds her as K-Sha just saved her life. Even if they end up injuring her for life, Noire will take responsibility but K-Sha must return to her senses. They defeat K-Sha. K-Sha understands the trouble she has caused and shoots her Gold Crystal. It shatters and she promises that she will get over Noire as and leaves as to not cause trouble.

Noire scolds her for her lack of care for their friendship. K-Sha decides to remain friends. Uni is always willing to accept K-Sha even if she is obsessed with Noire. The girls return to Lastation. Uni and Noire will continue to hunt delusionary monsters while K-Sha will dismantle the remnants of the Order.

Finale
Uni and Noire hear of a group that sounds like Neptune coming over to Lastation. They decide to wait for that group. Neptune is noisy as usual so the sisters greet them. Neptune then teases Noire a bit while Compa gives Uni a Planeptune Tower cake. She thanks her and wonders where Compa is going with this. Uni and Noire join Neptune in their mission to defeat AffimaX.

Neptune gathers the rest of the goddesses and reports back to Histoire. It turns out that AffimaX's members assisted the higher ups of the organization that abused the Gamindustri Rewrite. The current members of AffimaX are Warechu, Arfoire, Steamax, Older Neptune and a mysterious girl. Histoire says that her acquaintance from another dimension has helped her track down their battleship. Uni and Noire seem to have an idea who that acquaintance is. Histoire orders the girls to go defeat AffimaX.

The girls decide to take a break in the hot springs first. The candidates decide to check Uni's chest for any rearrangement much to her annoyance. After that the girls are ready to go. Uni notices Jiro walking all depressed. She greets him and asks him what is wrong.

Jiro explains that he was always good at not standing out. In middle school he would always collect adult books but was lonely. The general went up to him and befriended him. They spent the rest of their days together as best friends. As of late, the general is hiding things from him and acting cold. In addition to that, Jiro had a change in taste which he kept hidden from the general. The general found out and cut his ties with Jiro.

Uni finds it weird that robots had a middle school and childhood in general but keeps that to herself. Uni says that it is likely his friend is using that as an excuse. He must be burdened with something and forced Jiro away from that burden. Jiro then realizes something and apologizes to Uni for deceiving her all this time. He leaves. Uni catches up to the girls. They enter the battleship which does not have too much security.

Uni then finds Jiro who introduces himself as Steamax and will not let them harm the general. She gets angry at the ninja asking him if this is what he meant by deception. Steamax tells her he has no idea of who she is referring to and tells it is must be another person. Uni then understands what he means by deception and what burden his friend faces. The girls fight and defeat Steamax. Steamax is incredibly persistent. Blanc says if it is going to be like this, they will have destroy him. Uni shoots him with a tranquilizer shot. Neptune wonders if she is an assassin for AffimaX but she explains it was a shot. The girls move on ahead.

Uni tells Steamax to wake up which he does. Steamax says sorry. Uni asks for what? Was it the deception or trying to throw his life away? He says both. He explains that he would not have been able to stop himself. Uni forgives him if he decides to not run away. Steamax agrees and asks Uni to go easy on the general. Uni promises that they'll treat the general nicely.

Uni and the girls meet Affimojas. They find out he rewrote Gamindustri for profit. The goddesses transform to fight him. The girls defeat him and Affimojas surrenders. However when the CPUs' guards are down he attacks them cutting their connection to their shares. Nepgear notices that the crystal on Affimojas' sword is the same crystal Arfoire used to nullify Share Energy in the Zero Dimension.

Affimojas captures the CPUs and ransoms them for 1 gajillion credits each. He says that he has always made money of the CPUs with his site @GeneralSummarySite. He is currently though using the Gold Third to make money. Lucky for him with the Gold Crystal shattered, soon no one can oppose him.

The Gold Third show up and give the CPUs a Hyper Share Crystal. With the crystal, the CPUs transform to the Next Form. The CPUs make short work of Affimojas. Uni asks the general to surrender for Steamax's sake. He refuses and Uni asks why. Noire and Blanc says the Negative Energy is consuming him. Uni asks if there is a way to save him. S-Sha says if they can release his soul, he will be saved. Steamax arrives to do this and promises that he will go with his friend to the afterlife.

Neptune interrupts this saying she wants a happy ending. She cuts down the Negative Energy consuming Affimojas. With that AffimaX is defeated and the group returns to Planeptune. The citizens now remember all the goddesses. Histoire congratulates the girls on a job well done and notes that the Gamindustri Rewrite was literally cut down. Neptune is proud of her work and can't wait to spread the news. She will become famous, gain shares and pudding. Everyone decides to keep it a secret to stop Neptune from experience the problems fame brings. This saddens Neptune.

In the epilogue Neptune has Nepgear and Uni read their ending lines. Nepgear complains that the lines she is reading is not something her character would say. Uni tells Nepgear to not mess up and reads her lines which is also something her character. Noire tells the candidates to stop fooling around as the game is not over yet.

Uni's Theme ver.V	Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory	Uni gets another theme which is titled Uni's Theme ver. V that is composed by Nobuo Uematsu and preformed by his band the Earthbound Papas. It is an acoustic remix version of her theme from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 that features the main melody of the theme being played on guitar. Uni's theme serves mainly as one of the tracks that occasionally plays during certain cutscenes. It is the seventh track on Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory: Sounds Of That Other Gamindustri.
